Project: Project Fox // Client: Volkswagen // Project Overview: Volkswagen reached out to FriendsWithYou to contribute in their project celebrating the release of the VW Fox and the launch of the Fox Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark. Each of the four rooms designed by FWY in the Hotel is a custom art piece that explores the different realms of existence in the minds of FWY. All aspects of the styling and décor were individually selected to fit each story. In addition to the rooms, FWY gave VW’s Fox a soul by transforming it into a magical character known as the “Albino Fox”. The new Volkswagen car was introduced to the European market with a FWY art installation that used elements of spiritual rituals to celebrate the car’s unique identity. This multifaceted project continues to demonstrate FriendsWithYou’s ability to successfully merge the world of fine art and commercial work for hire.
